What Bruce Pearl said ahead of No. 25 Auburn's second crack at Georgia

Auburn's loss at Georgia back on January 4 was an eye opener. The Tigers were 3-2 in their last five games entering their first road SEC game with close wins over Georgia State and Florida, and losses to Memphis and USC. The one impressive win during that stretch was at Washington. In that respect, the loss at Georgia felt like it was brewing, in some ways. However, following the loss that was certainly ugly at the time and remains Auburn's only loss outside of the top 55 in the NET ratings, the Tigers reeled off five straight wins in SEC play. But that momentum stalled last week. Two double-digit halftime deficits have led to back-to-back losses against Texas A&M and West Virginia. And if Auburn can't find a way to beat Georgia, the losing streak could go from three to six games in a heartbeat with at Tennessee, at Texas A&M and at home against Alabama the next three scheduled games.
