As the On3 consensus rankings are ever-changing due to the average of all recruiting services, On3 has its very own rankings as well.

The On300, which is the elite group of the top 300 prospects in the country according to On3 experts, has several Auburn commits and targets included.

Today, we are taking a look at the latest moves with the top recruits for the Tigers. There are some that On3 has higher than the rest of the recruiting services. Here are ten of the most important Auburn recruiting target rankings with On3.

No. 8, DL, James Smith, Montgomery, Ala.

On3: No. 8 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 14 overall

Latest news update: How does Auburn’s coaching uncertainty impact its chances with 5-star DL James Smith?

Smith, a consensus 5-star recruit, is Auburn’s top defensive line target. While his stock was already sky-high, it only seems to keep rising. Smith has been a disruptor on the field as a senior for Carver Montgomery (Ala.) High. He continues to consider Auburn as one of his top schools.

No. 19, edge, Qua Russaw, Montgomery, Ala.

On3: No. 19 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 22 overall

Latest news update: 5-star edge Qua Russaw on Auburn: ‘It’s just something about the program’

Russaw, who is also a consensus 5-star like his teammate Smith, has risen a few spots to help secure his 5-star rating. Also like his teammate, Russaw has been a force on defense for his school. He has played edge and inside linebacker where he also has an impact. Russaw continues to consider Auburn as one of his top schools.

No. 40, DL, Darron Reed, Columbus, Ga. (LSU)

On3: No. 40 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 179 overall

Latest news update: Auburn ‘pushing hard’ for 4-star LSU defensive line commit

Reed, a consensus 4-star defensive lineman, is ranked much higher in On3’s ranking than with other recruiting services. Auburn Live was able to see him in action against Crisp County (Ga.) High. He was a game changer and made the game winning strip sack. He is committed to LSU, but Auburn has come on strong lately and has gotten him on campus three times.

No. 101, edge, Keldric Faulk, Highland Home, Ala. (Florida State)

On3: No. 101 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 80 overall

Latest news update: 4-star FSU commit Keldric Faulk changes weekend visit plans

Faulk committed to Florida State over the summer. Since then, he told Auburn Live that the Tigers were coming after him harder since he committed. Auburn has changed its tune in recruitment and appears to be recruiting Faulk as an interior defensive lineman along with the edge position. Proximity to home could play in Auburn’s favor as well. For now, he remains solid with the Noles.

No. 110, edge, Rueben Bain, Miami, Fla.

On3: No. 110 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 86 overall

Latest news update: 4-star DE Rueben Bain after latest FSU visit: ‘They are in a great position with me’

Bain and Faulk are two edges who are ranked lower with On3 than with the consensus. Auburn, however, sees Bain as a top priority. The Tigers also have some confidence along with other schools such as Florida State. Bain has possibly improved his stock with his strong play during his senior season so far.

No. 128, TE, Jelani Thurman, Fairburn, Ga. (Ohio State)

On3: No. 128 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 116 overall

Latest news update: Tight end target Jelani Thurman loves atmosphere, tight end usage, blames loss on ‘mistakes’

Thurman committed to Ohio State in the summer but continues to be Auburn’s top tight end target. He saw his stock grow significantly in the summer as he started far outside the On300. Now, a top 150 player, Thurman has been to Auburn three times this season and continues to be in heavy communication with the Tigers.

No. 131, OL, DJ Chester, McDonough, Ga.

On3: No. 131 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 146 overall

Latest news update: 4-star offensive lineman DJ Chester can see himself having impact at Auburn

Chester is an uncommitted 4-star offensive lineman that seems to have gone quiet of late. Auburn, LSU, and Florida State are probably the top contenders. Chester was offered by Auburn before he had a star to his name. Now, On3 has him in the top 150 players in the nation.

No. 182, OL, Bo Hughley, Fairburn, Ga. (Georgia)

On3: No. 182 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 99 overall

Latests news update: The Recruiting Board: A look at Auburn’s offensive line targets

Hughley has been committed to Georgia for over a year. Auburn has long considered him a top offensive tackle prospect and continues to heavily recruit. It seems as though Hughley has been close to flipping to Auburn, but has held off. The Tigers intend to take it down to the wire. On3 currently has him nearly 100 spots lower than the consensus in the rankings.

No. 194, RB, Jeremiah Cobb, Montgomery, Ala. (Auburn)

On3: No. 194 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 161 overall

Latest news update: 3 Auburn commits selected to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic

The first Auburn commit on the list, Cobb has seen his stock grow over the year. Cobb made a big jump into the On300 and probably isn’t done. At last check, he is locked in with the Tigers and chose them over schools such as Clemson and Tennessee.

No. 260, edge, Ashley Williams, Zachary, La. (Auburn)

On3: No. 261 overall
Consensus ranking: No. 358 overall

Latest news update: On300 EDGE Ashley Williams Jr. focused on Auburn

Williams committed to Auburn after a Big Cat Weekend visit. He was committed to Nebraska when he arrived in Auburn and decommitted shortly after. The Tigers landed him and he has gotten strong buzz in the rankings since. A big performance on ESPNU probably helped him get a bump in the next rankings update. On3 already has him ranked much higher than the consensus.
