Clemson has been one of the best offensive teams in the ACC this season, but the Tigers went ice cold Tuesday night at Boston College.

Clemson missed 17 straight shots in the second half and went nearly 13 minutes without a field goal, falling 62-54 at BC.

The loss was just Clemson’s second in ACC play this season. The Tigers are now 18-5 (10-2) and will host Miami on Saturday.

Clemson got out to a 19-8 lead in the first half but struggled with turnovers and missed shots the rest of the first half and trailed 30-23 at the break.

Clemson battled back to tie the game at 45, but the 17 straight missed shots proved to be too much to overcome.

Chase Hunter hit a jumper with 13:16 left in the game, and the Tigers didn’t make another field goal until Hunter Tyson’s 3-pointer with 17 seconds remaining.

For the game, Clemson shot 31 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from 3-point range.

Tyson led the way with 22 points and 8 rebounds, but Hunter and PJ Hall combined to shoot 7-for-26 from the field.
