Clemson seeding, path set for ACC Tournament

With the college basketball regular season in the books, the attention now shifts to conference championship week. Clemson enters the ACC Tournament on a four-game winning streak, capped off by its Senior Day win over Virginia Tech on Saturday.

The Tigers will look to carry their momentum with them to Brooklyn. Slated as the No. 10 seed in the tournament, Clemson will play No. 15 seed NC State in the opening round on Tuesday. A win against the Wolfpack and Clemson would have a rematch with No. 7 seed Virginia Tech. If the Tigers could pick up two consecutive wins, they would punch a ticket to the quarterfinals against No. 2 seed Notre Dame.

Tuesday’s game from the Barclays Center is set to tip off at 4:30 p.m. on the ACC Network. The Tigers are 16-15 overall and 8-12 in the conference, a far cry from being in the NCAA Tournament conversation. That could change this week in New York if they can win an ACC title, which would punch their ticket to the Big Dance.

2023 DL Hunter Osborne collects an offer from the Clemson Tigers

Heading into Saturday’s junior day, Clemson Sports was well aware of the possibility of the Tigers offering multiple Class of 2023 prospects.

The program’s Elite Junior Day event on Jan. 29 resulted in three offers being extended. As of publishing this article, Dabo Swinney’s staff has given the green light to another trio of recruits: A.J. HofflerHunter Osborne, and T.J. Searcy.

Clemson Sports heard from Osborne on what sticks out about the Tigers.

Clemson basketball recruiting intel from big weekend

It wasn’t just a big weekend for Clemson basketball on the court. The Tigers also had a big recruiting weekend, welcoming in three prospects to Littlejohn Coliseum.

Guard Win Miller, forward Cade Phillips and forward John Broom visited for Clemson’s 63-59 victory over Virginia Tech on Saturday. Phillips and Broome left with offers from Clemson, while Miller continues to be a prospect the Tigers are closely tracking.

All three prospects are from Alabama, and Phillips and Broom are teammates at Jacksonville High in Jacksonville, Alabama. Click here for more on the weekend.

Clemson completes sweep of South Carolina to remain unbeaten

The largest crowd in the history of Doug Kingsmore Stadium was on hand to witness the completion of a historically good weekend for the Clemson baseball program.

The Tigers topped South Carolina 5-2 on Sunday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium to finish off a three-game sweep of the Gamecocks.

This marked Clemson’s first sweep of South Carolina since 1999 and its first sweep of more than two games against USC since 1996. With the win, Clemson improved to 11-0. South Carolina dropped to 7-4 with the loss.
