CLEMSON — Trevor Lawrence is officially a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft — Lawrence signed his rookie deal with Jacksonville on Monday, the team announced.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Lawrence signed a four-year deal worth $36.8 million. It includes $24.1 million guaranteed and comes with the standard fifth-year option. Lawrence’s signing bonus will be paid within 15 business days.

Jaguars rookie running back Travis Etienne — who starred alongside Lawrence at Clemson — remains unsigned, according to the team.

Lawrence enters his rookie season with sky-high expectations after a record-setting career at Clemson.

Facing high expectations is nothing new for Lawrence, though. He arrived at Clemson as the No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2018 and more than lived up to the hype in his three seasons with the Tigers.

Lawrence led Clemson to three consecutive ACC titles and College Football Playoff appearances. He ended his college career as Clemson’s all-time winningest quarterback.

Lawrence also won a national title during his time with the Tigers, leading Clemson to the 2018 title as a true freshman. He was 34-2 during his three years as a starter.

He is one of only two Clemson players to ever be named a Heisman finalist — joining NFL star Deshaun Watson.
