GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators will hold its annual Pro Day on March 30. Eleven former Florida Gators are expected to be in attendance.

Florida’s Pro Day will be televised live on SEC Network. Chris Doering will report live from inside the indoor practice facility on the campus of the University of Florida. Peter Burns, Jordan Reid, and Matt Stinchcomb will be in-studio. The broadcast can also be watched on SEC Network+ and ESPN streaming platforms. NFL+ will also provide special coverage of this year’s Gators Pro Day. Tom Pelissero and former NFL wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. will report from the ground in Gainesville.

Pro Day events will include weight room weigh-ins, bench press, vertical jump, and broad jump as well as the 40-yard dash, 60-yard shuttle, and position workouts.

Quarterback Anthony Richardson is not expected to run the 40-yard dash. Richardson told Gators Online that he’s “run his last 40” after posting a blistering 4.43 second time at the NFL Combine. Richardson had one of the best NFL Combine performances for a quarterback ever. He is likely to sit on most of his combine testing scores. Richardson will likely throw to his receivers at Pro Day as NFL scouts, coaches, and general managers are expected to be in town.

Despite being dismissed from the team in the middle of the season, Brenton Cox Jr. will be allowed to work out during Florida’s Pro Day. The Gators released social media content for the East-West Shrine Game wishing their former players luck without Cox being included despite playing in the game. It would be detrimental for Cox to not be included in Florida’s Pro Day. A talented player, Cox doesn’t have stats that match his physical abilities and ceiling. He had an opportunity to work out for scouts at the NFL Combine but needs to continue to work out and interview with teams at every opportunity.

Amari Burney was not invited to the Combine and will use Pro Day as his chance to show NFL teams what he can do. Additionally, Trey Dean and Rashad Torrence will look to improve their 40-yard dash times. Jordan Pouncey will workout for NFL teams for the first time since the season ended. An injury kept Richard Gouraige from working out at the combine, so this will be an important day for him as well.
