The Gators now have a top-25 ranking for their 2023 recruiting class after landing a pair of recruits over the weekend.

Four-star offensive lineman Knijeah Harris and three-star receiver Creed Whittemore both committed on Saturday. Harris is Florida’s first OL pledge for 2023, while Whittemore is the second wideout to join the class in as many months.

Harris picked UF over Miami, Texas A&M and more than 20 offers, including Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and Ohio State. Whittemore went his hometown Gators over UCF and more than 15 offers, including Miami, Michigan, Penn State and Texas A&M.

With the addition of Harris and Whittemore, the Gators cracked the top 25 in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. Their 2023 class is now ranked No. 22 nationally with four total commits.

Harris may not be the last player Florida lands at IMG Academy in this cycle. UF is also one of the top schools for two of his teammates, four-star defensive lineman Will Norman and four-star linebacker Jordan Hall.
