College football’s TV ratings continue to rise as the season enters its final weeks, and the Florida Gators remain one of the country’s most-watched programs despite their 3–6 record.

Nielsen recently released its updated list of the most-watched teams through Week 11, and Florida checked in at No. 8 with an average of 5.67 million viewers per game.

The SEC once again led the national ratings. Eight of the 10 most-watched games this season aired on ABC, giving the league a strong hold at the top of Nielsen’s list. Even in a down year on the field, the Gators continue to deliver major audiences, showing the power of the brand on national TV.

Florida has appeared in two of the most-watched games of the season so far. The Gators’ Week 3 matchup at LSU remains one of the biggest broadcasts of the year, drawing 7.6 million viewers in ABC’s primetime slot. The Georgia game brought in strong viewership as well.

A big part of Florida’s national attention comes from the quarterback position. Sophomore DJ Lagway arrived as a former 5-star prospect, but he has struggled for much of the season and was replaced during the Week 10 loss at Kentucky. Even so, Lagway’s name recognition continues to draw interest from viewers, adding to Florida’s broadcast appeal.

According to Nielsen Big Data + Panel data, here are the 10 most-watched teams through Week 11: Alabama (7.87 million), Tennessee (7.03), Georgia (6.996), Texas (6.48), LSU (6.42), Oklahoma (6.07), Ohio State (5.75), Florida (5.67), Florida State (4.92) and Ole Miss (4.65).

Nielsen does not track SEC Network, ACC Network or CBS Sports Network, so these numbers include only games on rated broadcasts. The list will update weekly as the regular season winds down.
