Gators commits get ready for another week of High School Football

As High School Football is fully underway across the nation, some of Florida’s best are in action this weekend. Multiple matchups will show off Gators’ commits and targets against each other in Florida which will keep Gators fans busy on Friday night.

The matchups

Top-100 wide receiver Eugene Wilson III and his Gaither Cowboys will face off against 1-1 Wharton in a matchup between two of the best Tampa teams this season. Keep an eye out for this one, as Wilson will face off against Gators’ defensive back target Dijon Johnson and 2024 running back target Stacy Gage.

2-0 Boone and four-star wide receiver Aidan Mizell travels to 2-0 Winter Park.

The 0-4 Upson-Lee Knights and four-star EDGE T.J Searcy fell on Thursday night, 42-7 to 3-0 LaGrange High School, where Billy Napier’s brother, Matt, is the head coach.

1-1 Olympia and four-star defensive lineman Kam James take on 1-1 Lake Nona.

The 1-1 Lakewood Spartans and four-star EDGE Isaiah Nixon host 2-0 Homestead on Friday night.

Four-star running back Treyaun Webb looks to carry his Trinity Christian Academy team to another victory against North Florida Educational Institute.

Four-star defensive back Sharif Denson and his 2-0 Bartram Trail team take on 1-0 Mainland on the road.

2-0 Buchholz takes on 2-0 Eastside in a matchup between two of Gainesville’s best. Four-star defensive lineman Gavin Hill and three-star athlete Creed Whittemore represent the Bobcats.

Four-star quarterback Marcus Stokes looks to lead his 0-2 Nease team to their first victory of the season against 2-0 Fleming Island.

0-2 Columbia and four-star linebacker Jaden Robinson host 1-1 Deland this Friday.

1-1 IMG Academy and three-star offensive lineman Knijeah Harris travel to Utah to take on 2-2 East High School.

Three-star offensive lineman Bryce Lovett leads 2-0 Rockledge into a matchup again 0-2 Viera.

The 0-2 Eustis Panthers and three-star wide receiver Tyree Patterson face 0-1 Tavares at home Friday.

An undefeated matchup goes down in Central Florida

The 2-0 Edgewater Eagles travel to West Orange High, home of four-star safety Jordan Castell in an undefeated matchup. Texas running back commit and UF flip target Cedric Baxter Jr. plays for Edgewater.

Cancelation ruins one marquee Miami matchup

Unfortunately for Miami High School Football fans, Thursday’s matchup between Miami Northwestern and Chaminade-Madonna was canceled due to weather. Four-star wide receiver Andy Jean plays for the MNW Bulls and will now have no game this week.

Multiple Florida commits on bye this week

Top-75 defensive lineman Kelby Collins and his 2-1 Gardendale team will have a bye.

Four-star cornerback Ja’Keem Jackson and his Osceola Kowboys are on bye this week.
