Gators in the NFL: Week 16

A number of former Florida Gators made their impact throughout week 16 of the NFL season.

Here are the numbers from the former Gators’ performances on the weekend:

Arizona Cardinals

Marco Wilson – the second-year corner racked up four total tackles and intercepted Tom Brady twice in Arizona’s 19-16 overtime loss to Tampa Bay.

Max Garcia – Garcia made his fourth consecutive start on the Arizona offensive line in the loss.

DJ Humphries is out for the season with a back injury.

Atlanta Falcons

Feleipe Franks – the former college quarterback recorded no stats in Atlanta’s 17-9 loss to Baltimore.

Jonotthan Harrison did not play in the loss.

Kyle Pitts is out for the season with an MCL injury.

Baltimore Ravens

Demarcus Robinson – Robinson’s lone catch on Sunday went for 6 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore’s 17-9 win over Atlanta.

David Sharpe and Jeremiah Moon recorded no stats in the win.

Buffalo Bills

Kaiir Elam – the 2022 first round pick had two total tackles in the Bills’ 35-13 win over the Bears.

Carolina Panthers

CJ Henderson – the 2020 No. 9 overall pick forced a fumble in Carolina’s 37-23 win over Detroit.

Eddy Piñeiro – Piñeiro made all three of his field goal attempts with a long of 40 yards on the day while hitting each of his four extra point attempts in the win.

Cincinnati Bengals

Evan McPherson – the second-year kicker hit a 28-yard field goal but missed one from 43 yards out in Cincinnati’s 22-18 win over New England. He also made one of his two extra point attempts.

Zach Carter – the rookie recorded two total tackles and a half sack in the win.

Cleveland Browns

Taven Bryan – the 2018 first round pick had two total tackles and a pass breakup in Cleveland’s 17-10 loss to the Saints.

Dallas Cowboys

Former Gators Dante Fowler Jr., Malik Davis and Antonio Callaway recorded no stats in the Cowboys’ 40-34 win over the Eagles.

Denver Broncos

Freddie Swain – in the Broncos’ Christmas Day 51-14 loss to the Rams, Swain caught one pass for 11 yards.

Tyrie Cleveland – Cleveland recorded no stats in the loss.

Detroit Lions

Alex Anzalone – Anzalone posted five total tackles in Detroit’s 37-23 loss to Carolina.

Jarrad Davis did not play in the loss.

Green Bay Packers

TJ Slaton – Slaton had three total tackles including a run stuff in Green Bay’s 26-20 Christmas Day win over Miami.

Houston Texans

Jonathan Greenard – the third-year defensive end had three total tackles and a fumble recovery in Houston’s 19-14 win over Tennessee.

Dameon Pierce is on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jawaan Taylor – Taylor started on the Jaguars offensive line in their 19-3 win over the Jets.

Kansas City Chiefs

Carlos Dunlap – the veteran had two total tackles in Kansas City’s 24-10 win over Seattle.

Tommy Townsend – the third-year punter had six punts for an average 41 yards with a long of 56 yards in the win. He pinned the Seahawks inside their own 20 three times.

Kadarius Toney – Toney’s lone catch went for 8 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Los Angeles Rams

Brandon Powell – Powell had three catches for 12 yards, two carries for 3 yards and a punt return for 12 yards in the Rams’ 51-14 win over the Broncos.

Van Jefferson – the third-year receiver had three catches for 19 yards in the win.

Miami Dolphins

La’Mical Perine recorded no stats in Miami’s 26-20 loss to Green Bay.

Minnesota Vikings

Jonathan Bullard is on injured reserve with a biceps injury and did not play in the Vikings’ 27-24 win over the Giants.

New England Patriots

Trent Brown – Brown started on the Patriots’ offensive line in their 22-18 loss to the Bengals.

New Orleans Saints

Marcus Maye did not play in New Orleans’ 17-10 win over Cleveland due to a shoulder injury. He’s questionable to return to action in week 17.

Jabari Zuniga recorded no stats in the win.

Philadelphia Eagles

CJ Gardner-Johnson is on injured reserve with a lacerated kidney and did not play in Philadelphia’s 40-34 loss to Dallas.

Fred Johnson did not play in the win.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Duke Dawson recorded no stats in Pittsburgh’s 13-10 win over the Raiders.

Seattle Seahawks

Stone Forsythe – Forsythe played the most snaps of his 2022 season on the Seahawks offensive line in their 24-10 loss to the Chiefs.

Teez Tabor – Tabor had three total tackles in the loss.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Keanu Neal – Neal had one total tackle and an interception in Tampa Bay’s 19-16 Christmas Day overtime win.

Kyle Trask recorded no stats in the win.

Washington Commanders 

Jon Bostic – Bostic left Washington’s 37-20 loss to San Francisco early with a pectoral injury and is listed as questionable going into week 17.
