Gators in the NFL: Week 18

A number of former Florida Gators made their impact throughout week 18 of the NFL season.

Here are the numbers from the former Gators’ performances on the final weekend of the regular season:

Arizona Cardinals

Marco Wilson was listed as inactive with a neck injury for the second straight week and did not play in Arizona’s 38-13 loss to San Francisco.

Max Garcia closed out his season making his sixth consecutive start on the Cardinals offensive line in the loss.

DJ Humphries is out for the season with a back injury.

Atlanta Falcons

Feleipe Franks was ruled out (coach’s decision) ahead of Atlanta’s 30-17 victory over Tampa Bay.

Jonotthan Harrison did not play in the win.

Kyle Pitts is out for the season with an MCL injury.

Baltimore Ravens

Demarcus Robinson had two catches for 24 yards in Baltimore’s 27-16 loss to Cincinnati. 

David Sharpe and Jeremiah Moon recorded no stats in the loss.

Buffalo Bills

Kaiir Elam recorded two total tackles in the Bills’ 35-23 win over the Patriots.

Carolina Panthers

CJ Henderson had four total tackles, a pass breakup and a forced fumble in Carolina’s 10-7 win over New Orleans.

Eddy Piñeiro hit his lone field goal attempt from 42 yards out as time expired to beat the Saints. The fourth-year kicker also hit his lone extra point attempt in the win.

Cincinnati Bengals

Evan McPherson hit both of his field goal attempts with a long of 34 yards and hit all three of his extra point attempts in Cincinnati’s 27-16 win over Baltimore.

Zach Carter had two total tackles and a pass breakup in the win.

Cleveland Browns

Taven Bryan had one total tackle in the Browns’ 28-14 loss to the Steelers.

Dallas Cowboys

Dante Fowler Jr. recorded no stats in Dallas’ 26-6 loss to Washington.

Malik Davis carried the ball five times for 19 yards in the loss.

Antonio Callaway did not play in week 18.

Denver Broncos

Freddie Swain had two catches for 54 yards and a muffed punt that was recovered by the Broncos in their 31-28 win over the Chargers. Swain left the game in the fourth quarter with a hip injury.

Tyrie Cleveland did not play in the win.

Detroit Lions

Alex Anzalone posted eight total tackles in Detroit’s 20-16 win in Green Bay to knock the Packers out of the playoffs.

Green Bay Packers

TJ Slaton had three total tackles and a run stuff in Green Bay’s 20-16 loss to Detroit.

Houston Texans

Jonathan Greenard ended his season with a bang with his first career interception that he returned 39 yards for a pick six and three total tackles in Houston’s 32-31 win over Indianapolis.

Dameon Pierce is on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jawaan Taylor started on the Jaguars offensive line in their 20-16 win over the Titans to clinch the AFC South division title. Taylor started for the Jags in all 17 games this season.

Kansas City Chiefs

Carlos Dunlap had one pass breakup in Kansas City’s 31-13 win over Las Vegas.

Tommy Townsend punted the ball four times on Saturday for an average of 49 yards with a long of 61. He pinned the Raiders inside their own 20 yard line three times in the win.

Kadarius Toney caught two passes for 18 yards and rushed the ball three times for 26 yards and a touchdown as the Chiefs secured the top seed in the AFC.

Los Angeles Rams

Brandon Powell had one catch for 2 yards, one carry for 15 yards, a kick return for 17 yards and three punt returns for a total of 22 yards in the Rams’ 19-16 loss to the Seahawks.

Van Jefferson had three catches for 61 yards in the loss.

Miami Dolphins

La’Mical Perine did not play in Miami’s 11-6 win over the New York Jets to clinch the AFC’s final playoff spot.

Minnesota Vikings

Jonathan Bullard returned from injured reserve (biceps) and played Sunday for Minnesota but recorded no stats in the Vikings’ 29-13 win over the Bears.

New England Patriots

Trent Brown started on the Patriots offensive line in their 35-23 loss to the Bills that ended their season. Brown started on the New England offensive line in all but one game this season.

New Orleans Saints

Marcus Maye did not play in New Orleans’ 10-7 loss to Carolina as he’s dealing with a shoulder injury.

Jabari Zuniga did not play in week 18.

New York Giants

Jarrad Davis recorded 10 total tackles and a half sack in the Giants’ 22-16 loss to the Eagles.

Philadelphia Eagles

CJ Gardner-Johnson returned from injured reserve (lacerated kidney) on Sunday and recorded seven total tackles in the Eagles’ 22-16 win over the Giants to clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

Fred Johnson did not play in week 18.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Duke Dawson did not play in Pittsburgh’s 28-14 win over Cleveland.

Seattle Seahawks

Stone Forsythe appeared on the Seahawks offensive line in their 19-16 win over the Rams.

Teez Tabor had one total tackle in the win.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Keanu Neal left Tampa Bay’s 30-17 loss to Atlanta with a hip injury. He’s listed as questionable ahead of the Buccaneers’ Monday night matchup with the Cowboys in the wild card round of the playoffs.

Kyle Trask saw the field for the first time this season and completed three of nine passes for 23 yards in the loss.

Washington Commanders 

Jon Bostic is on injured reserve (pectoral) and did not play in the Commanders’ 26-6 win over the Cowboys.
