QB play only part of FSU offense's problem -- Film breakdown with Dominic Robinson

Two games. Three offensive touchdowns. Two losses. FSU football is reeling on both sides of the ball and in need of a major response Saturday afternoon when it takes on Memphis (12 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Using the learning tool of All-22 film, Warchant lead football analyst Dominic Robinson is back to assess the different reasons why Florida State’s offense is in a rut. In case you missed it, Robinson broke down Florida State’s defensive problems with All-22 film in an earlier feature.

Before studying the offensive tape against Georgia Tech and Boston College, Robinson assumed that quarterback DJ Uiagalelei was going to be the player that stuck out as the main issue. But after watching, he came away with a larger critique.

“The execution is just really, really poor,” Robinson explained. “And I really came into it thinking that it was the quarterback that was the problem. … But after diving into the film — I want to show you guys and let you come to your own conclusion — I think that the problems are a little bit bigger than just what the quarterback is doing. And I think making a change there is probably not the answer to the problems.”
