New Commitment! FSU flips 6-7 WR Jordan Scott from Arizona State
The 2025 recruiting class might not be much of a feast for Florida State, but the Seminoles still got quite a Thanksgiving treat on Thursday as they flipped Arizona State wide receiver commit Jordan Scott.
The 6-foot-7 wideout committed to the Sun Devils earlier this month, but he took an official visit to Florida State this past weekend, and the ‘Noles clearly made a big impression. The junior college standout announced his flip Thursday afternoon on social media.
Scott currently plays at Southwest Mississippi Community College, and he said one of the things he likes about Florida State is what the Seminoles did the last two years with former receiver Johnny Wilson.
“I mean they did a great thing with Johnny, and that’s the thing I like to see because I’m a big guy and I see how much success they had with Johnny,” Scott said after his official visit. “So therefore, I know how much success they can have with me if I do the right thing.”

Scott is Florida State’s only WR commitment of the 2024 class, which earlier saw three four-star commitments back out following the Seminoles’ struggles on the field.
