No. 5 Florida State logged its final practice in Tallahassee before their scheduled departure to South Florida for the Orange Bowl vs. No. 6 Georgia.

QB Tate Rodemaker was 3-for-6 in the opening team period of the morning. The drive ended with the Florida State offense setting up a Ryan Fitzgerald field goal which the redshirt junior successfully converted.

No. 5 Florida State (13-0, 9-0) will play in its first New Year’s Six Bowl since an appearance in the 2016 Orange Bowl.

The Seminoles are coming off a 16-6 win in the ACC Championship Game vs. Louisville. No. 6 UGA fell in the SEC Championship Game to No. 4 Alabama 27-24

Florida State will be without NFL Draft hopefuls Johnny Wilson, Trey Benson and Fabien Lovett. The Seminoles are also likely to be without several of their portal entrants.
