During his weekly press conference, Florida State head coach Mike Norvell reflected on the 42-16 loss saying response and leadership during adverse situations was lacking vs. SMU.
“This week we have a challenge with a team that’s playing as well as anyone in the league, in the country and we’ve probably played on the opposite spectrum of that,” said Norvell.

FSU’s next opponent, Clemson, knocked off Stanford 40-14 on Saturday night to improve to 3-1.
The Seminoles and Tigers will square off in Doak Campbell on Saturday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
Florida State added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
