Everyone knows the name Arch Manning. He is the No. 1 overall player in the country for the Class of 2023 according to all four of the major ranking sites. He’s worth $1.6 million according to the On3 NIL Valuation, tops among high school football players and fifth among amateur athletes.

The nephew of Peyton and Eli and grandson of Archie, football is in his blood, and everybody wants a piece of him. That’s why for the longest time, Manning stayed off of social media. However, that changed over the weekend with the five-star quarterback prospect joining Twitter and quickly receiving follows from a couple of college coaches in pursuit of his talents.

Furthermore, I wouldn’t consider it a coincidence that Georgia Football tweeted out their graphic of former Bulldog star Matthew Stafford and his four-year, $160 million extension with the Los Angeles Rams.

Stafford, who’s coming off of his first career Super Bowl, is a perfect example of what Manning could be if he decides to take his talents to The Classic City. Stafford was also the No. 1 ranked quarterback in his class back in 2006. The top player in the state of Texas, everyone wanted Stafford. He signed with Georgia, became the first true freshman starter for the Bulldogs this century, earned All-SEC and All-American honors and went on to be drafted first overall in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Manning is coming off of a visit to Texas this past weekend, the leader according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with 39.6% of the vote. Alabama follows just behind at 33.1% with a visit looming. However, Georgia is far from out of it with 18.5% of the RPM favoring the Bulldogs, and Manning having visited Athens multiple times, including a recent trip to reportedly went well.

So, don’t consider it a coincidence that as Arch Manning joins Twitter, Georgia Football tweets out the graphic of their best NFL quarterback in program history. He absolutely can serve as a selling point for what Manning is capable of, and probably should be with the success he’s had at the next level.
