This week’s Dawg Walk Talk Show includes some rare audio from Georgia football tight end, Brock Bowers. We also take our first look at the Georgia vs Oregon game.

We’ve given our insight and reactions to what Brock Bowers had to say throughout the week here at DawgsHQ.

I have to admit, I was a little surprised that a freshman with all of Bowers’s power and strength is really just a nice, mild-mannered dude.

Maybe he will open up a bit more and get more comfortable with more media appearances in the weeks, months and years ahead.

For now, the California kid is trying to figure out how to exist in the deep South. And he’s also struggling with his Zaxby’s NIL deal.

He doesn’t know it, but he is. Bowers admitted to reporters that he doesn’t like Zaxby’s sauce on his chicken tenders.

He prefers ketchup instead.

These Gen Z college kids freak me out, man.

Speaking of freaks, Bowers certainly is one. And Georgia’s football room is filled with them, too.

Check out the audio podcast for Bowers’s full media availability.

You can also watch it, and several other players’ availabilities, on our YouTube channel.

Georgia vs Oregon: What kinds of problems will the Ducks present for the Dawgs?

Team beat reporter Palmer Thombs shares his scrimmage notes from Georgia’s first session in Sanford Stadium.

The Dawgs’ offense is carrying the team as of now, and Palmer lets us know what he’s hearing.

Darnell Washington and Kenny McIntosh are two names with a lot of buzz at the moment, and it’s very likely both will flash some of it against Oregon.

We haven’t spent much time speaking about Georgia’s first football game of the season to this point in the summer, but now, it just feels right to start prognosticatin’.

And even though Georgia is favored by more than two touchdowns, there are some legitimate matchup concerns for the Dawgs in Atlanta.

At least, from our perspective, and Kirby Smart’s.

Team recruiting expert Jake Reuse also shares some insight on a major Notre Dame decommitment in this recruiting cycle, five-star EDGE rusher Keon Keeley.

It may be a long shot based on the other teams rumored to have Keeley’s eye, but that doesn’t mean Georgia can’t benefit.

In fact, Jake believes that there’s a good chance Notre Dame‘s loss is ultimately the Dawgs’ gain.

Wouldn’t be the first time that happened.
