FanDuel releases, updates odds on Georgia Football for 2023
FanDuel recently released new odds on a few bets pertaining to the Georgia Bulldogs for 2023. A trio of games already have spreads set while folks can also get their bets in on Kirby Smart and company to take home a third National Championship, a Bulldog to win the Heisman and more!
First, the games. The sports betting company previously announced lines for the always exciting rivalry game against the Gators and the highly anticipated trip to Neyland Stadium for Georgia-Tennessee. Both of those lines have changed over the last month with the Georgia-Florida line ballooning to having the Bulldogs as 20.5-point favorites. Meanwhile, Georgia now is more than a touchdown-favorite in Knoxville over the Volunteers coming in with a spread of 7.5.
Georgia-Kentucky has been an exciting one the last couple of times with the Wildcats pushing towards the top of the SEC East under Mark Stoops. No, there won’t be Will Levis on hand this year so the preseason positivity surrounding Kentucky isn’t quite what it was this time a year ago, but Kirby Smart has stayed consistent in his message that he knows Stoops’ squads will always be one of the more physical tests for his Bulldogs. FanDuel doesn’t think so, releasing a line of Georgia as 24-point favorites.
Those three games aren’t the only thing you can bet on though as it pertains to Georgia. In fact, there’s a “Georgia vs. The Field” National Championship bet available. On a team-by-team selection, the Bulldogs come in at +220 to take home the title. Alabama, Ohio State and Michigan all come in at +1000 or better while USC and Florida State also are available to be bet on. Then, when it comes to the Bulldogs or everybody else, not surprisingly the field is the favorite at -310 to Georgia’s +220.

Heisman odds and win totals also exist. Georgia’s over/under comes in at 11.5 meaning you are betting on whether the Bulldogs will or won’t lose their first regular season contest since 2020. The under is a slight favorite at -142 to +116 for the over, again understandable considering the difficulty of going undefeated. As the the sport’s most prestigious award, two Georgia quarterbacks – Carson Beck and Brock Vandagriff – have the same odds at +4000 while a pair of the projected top pass catchers – Brock Bowers and Dominic Lovett – come in at +15000 each.
Georgia is three practices into spring with 12 to go before G-Day on April 15th. The spring game, set to be shown on ESPN2 at 4:00 p.m. ET, should give an opportunity for the Bulldog coaching staff to start to settle out the various competitions including quarterback, offensive tackle and a few spots in the secondary – all up for grabs because of departures for the NFL Draft.
