Georgia recruiting is on one of the most aggressive tears in memory on Friday, with staffers set to collectively see one hundred schools in the Peach State.

Ten staff members are set to see ten schools each over the course of the day.

Here’s among the stops we’ve seen from the staff thus far today:

Jefferson High School – Kirby Smart and Glenn Schumann

The Georgia head coach and co-defensive coordinator didn’t start off the morning far from home. That’s because one of the nation’s elite linebackers, Sammy Brown, plays his high school ball at Jefferson. Georgia coaches have had success in Jefferson recently, reeling in freshman sensation Malaki Starks from the Dragons.

Mays High School – Dell McGee

Gainesville High School – Kirby Smart

Fran Brown – Fredrick Douglass High School

Frederick Douglass High School is the home of 2025 Ohio State defensive back commit Jontae Gilbert, who the Bulldogs have been pursuing heavily for some time now.

Kirby Smart and Chidera Uzo-Diribe

Mill Creek High School is the home of 2024 top 40 prospect KingJoseph Edwards, as he recently just transferred from Buford. He spoke with DawgsHQ regarding his recruitment this week, noting that the Georgia Bulldogs were a standout among his early top 15. Kirby Smart and outside linebackers coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe have both been active in his recruitment.

Dell McGee – Pebblebrook High School

Pebblebrook High School is home to four-star wideout Dwight Phillips, Jr., among the quickest recruits in the state of Georgia for the Class of 2024.

Bryan McClendon and Todd Hartley – Colquitt County

Bryan McClendon and Todd Hartley tagteaming Colquitt County makes a great deal of sense when you consider that the Bulldogs hold commitments from their standout wideout and tight end. Landen Thomas and Ny Carr both call Moultire home.

Stacy Searels – Trion High School

Stacy Searels puts in a stop at his high school alma mater.

Dell McGee – Carver Atlanta

Glenn Schumann – Crisp County

Former Georgia linebacker Quay Walker recently came to Athens by way of Crisp County.

Dell McGee – Woodward Academy

Dell McGee – Tri-Cities

Dell McGee – Hapeville Charter

Kirby Smart – Greene County

Georgia recruiting in 2024

The Bulldogs currently have the second-ranked class in the 2024 cycle, with early commitments from seven prospects.

Six of the current seven rank as a four-star or better prospect, with Colquitt County’s Landen Thomas atop the list as the highest-rated of the Bulldog commits.

The most recent commitment was from St. John Bosco safety Peyton Woodyard, the nation’s No. 2 safety for the cycle.
