Georgia is currently a 12.5-point favorite and that’s down a full point from the first part of the week. It will be the 11th time Kirby Smart has led his team onto the Mercedes-Benz turf. The Bulldogs are 5-5 in those games, 5-1 against any team not named Alabama, and 3-0 against non-SEC teams.
The Bulldogs are winners of 46 of their last 48 games dating back to the end of the 2020 season. Georgia is 42-2 over the past three seasons with two National Championships and a 13-1 campaign that ended in an Orange Bowl victory a season ago. Smart is in his ninth season with the program as Georgia takes aim at becoming the first team to emerge victorious in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff.
