Georgia releases 'Pick a Side' trailer ahead of Florida game

Georgia added some sauce to Saturday’s rivalry matchup with their pre-game trailer on Friday night. The Georgia social media team put together a trailer titled ‘Pick a Side’ narrated by Tyler Hubbard, the lead singer of country music group Florida-Georgia Line.
‘It’s more than a rivalry,’ Hubbard opened the montage with. Scenes of historic Georgia-Florida games of the past flash across the screen.
The trailer also plays on the split that takes place inside the stadium when these two teams meet. It also plays on the name of the group Hubbard rose to fame playing for. Hubbard declares his allegiance to Georgia.
“I’m taking DawgNation, every time,” Hubbard says.

He feels his experience is a positive in helping Florida prepare for a game like this.
“I think it’s always good that you can speak to your players, coaching staff, and team about what to expect,” Gonzales told reporters on the SEC teleconference on Wednesday. “Just having the opportunity of where we travel, how we get there, going over the bridge, and arriving at the stadium. What the stadium’s going to look like, the field is going to be divided in half through the stadium. I think that’s all unique in giving an opportunity to be able to challenge your players about the situation that they’re going to be playing in front of. I think that from that standpoint, I think it’s always good to have some type of experience.”
“I feel like this year, more so than any other year, we actually respect it a lot more just because of, on paper, Florida doesn’t really look like the greatest team when it comes to record-wise,” Georgia defensive lineman Jordan Hall told reporters on Tuesday. “But you sit down and watch the film, it’s one of the better teams we’ve played all year. I know us up front, o-line wise, that’s probably one of the best units we played. So I respect them and their game a lot more just by watching film and sitting down and watching that.”
