In a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown loaded with pressure, narratives and postseason stakes, it was the No. 2 Hoosiers who delivered the final blow Saturday night in a 13–10 win over top-ranked Ohio State that sealed Indiana’s first outright Big Ten Championship since 1945, clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff and likely wrapped up the Heisman Trophy for quarterback Fernando Mendoza. Here are my final thoughts from Indiana’s program-defining victory.
