Indiana basketball extends offer to 2027 four-star center Isaiah Hill

The Indiana basketball staff has officially extended an offer to one of the top instate prospects in the 2027 class, four-star center Isaiah Hill. This offer comes off the heels of home participating with his High School team, Indianapolis Pike, at the Indiana Team Camp on Saturday.

The offer from Indiana to Isaiah Hill was one of the more expected offers that would eventually happen this offseason with the Hoosiers taking strong interest in the four-star big man. During the spring evaluation period, the Indiana basketball staff made a point to watch him at EYBL Session 2 in Memphis, TN.

Hill is a 6-foot-10 center out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He plays for Pike High School (IN) and is coached by former NBA guard Jeff Teague. For AAU, he runs with Indy Heat 16u on the Nike EYBL Circuit.

So far during the EYBL season, Hill is averaging 8.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and impressive 3.9 blocks per game. He is shooting 46.4 percent from the field. During his sophomore season at Pike, he averaged a near double-double of 10.3 points and 7.3 rebound per games while also again being a force as a shot blocker with 3.6 blocks per game.

With his incredible length, Hill is a true shot blocker that consistently shows his ability to change any shots that come towards him in the paint. He also is force on the glass rebounding at a very high level. He is becoming a more consistent scorer around the rim with his next step in his development working on adding strength to his long frame and stretching the floor a bit, becoming a more versatile offensive threat.

As far as defense is concerned, he has all the potential to end up being the best rim protector in the 2027 class nationally.

Along with Indiana basketball, he holds offers from Syracuse and TCU. He is rated the No. 79 overall prospect in the On3 2027 Basketball Rankings.
