Dayton Howard sees his role increasing

One of the things that receivers learn when they come to the University of Iowa is that if you want to play, then you better learn to block. That is the path to getting on the field. When he was in high school, Dayton Howard really wasn’t asked to block, but a couple of years later, now he earned the second most snaps by any Iowa receiver, which means he’s engaging in blocking when he is in the game.
Howard talks about his increasing role and snaps in recent weeks and what that has been like. Along those lines, Howard talks about learning to become a better blocker in the Iowa offense.
