Iowa Players Presser News and Notes
The Iowa coaches have established a 24 hour rule to either celebrate wins or mourn a loss. That was put to the test this week following a last season loss to Oregon. But, based on what we heard from the Iowa players on Tuesday they are coping with it in a positive manner and according to center and team captain Logan Jones, they are hungrier than ever.
Jones and Beau Stephens discussed that moving on process and how Kirk Ferentz leads the way. They also discusses how last year at UCLA, which was a loss, it was due to being prepared, but not ready to play and how they are fixing that this time around when they travel to USC. We also hear from Mark Gronowski and what he has seen from the USC defense and the looks that they will present to the Hawkeyes on Saturday afternoon.
