Although there is work left to do still in the Class of 2023, Kansas State has dipped their toes into the 2024 waters quite a bit over the course of the last few weeks. That was definitely the case for the Missouri game, as they hosted many local headliners from that particular cycle.

A few worth mentioning are Grant Brix, Williams Nwaneri and David Dossett. Isaiah Mozee is a 2025 receiver with an offer from the Wildcats already that was also in Manhattan. It was that weekend where they also offered 2024 tight end Jaden Reddell.

However, he already has a sensational offer sheet that also includes Missouri, Nebraska, Tennessee, Oregon, Penn State, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Michigan and Cincinnati.

The Raymore-Peculiar product is a teammate of Nebraska commit and one-time K-State target Jaidyn Doss. It is part of a greater effort from Chris Klieman and Kansas State to be more of a recruiting player on the Missouri side of Kansas City.

Reddell loved being in town to see the Wildcats defeat Missouri.

“It was great,” he said. “I loved the atmosphere and all of the coaches. It was an amazing time.”

He learned of his new offer from K-State the morning before kickoff after a conversation with the tight end coach, Brian Lepak.

“I was talking with Coach Lepak,” Reddell mentioned. “And he told me they were offering me. It was amazing. They said they were glad I came up to watch the game and wanted to start being in contact more.”

As with most Kansas City, Missouri prospects, he’s also in communication with assistant Conor Riley and staffer Josh Buford. They mine that part of the metro for the Wildcats. And they showed off Kansas State in impressive fashion for Reddell.

His first taste was a smashing success. Not only was it attached to dominating the nearby Tigers with great ease, but his tour of the football complex was also something that caught his eye during his time around the K-State football program.

“The facility was incredible,” Reddell noted. “The coaches were all nice. I loved talking with them.”

Kansas State is hoping to grab highly-touted tight ends in three consecutive classes. Though it didn’t contain a lot of hype, Garrett Oakley was a wanted man by Big Ten schools before the Wildcats landed him. And they fended off several Power Five programs to reel in Will Anciaux of Kapaun Mt. Carmel.

They are hoping Reddell is next, and they may have some help from his inner circle. His guests that joined him, who are influential to him, are very supportive of Kansas State.

“It was a family friend and his son,” Reddell provided. “He went to K-State, and he is a huge K-State fan.”

Kansas State will hope that plays in their favor for the rest of his recruitment.
