Screen Shot 2016-04-19 at 11.25.16 AM Kentucky football and Keeneland have a lot in common. For starters, they're both better with a lot of bourbon. They make for great Saturdays in the fall. They've also cost me a lot of money. The list goes on. The two Lexington traditions have teamed up recently and formed a much closer bond, with the football team embracing horse racing as part of its identity. The team's intro video in 2015 had a horse racing theme, so do the new uniforms, and now you can find "The Keeneland Paddock" in Commonwealth Stadium. Mark Stoops and Keeneland President Bill Thomason recently discussed that relationship between the UK football program and the race track in an interview with SEC Network.
