What We Learned
— Ten of Kentucky’s 11 starters on defense are seniors.
— The Wildcats aren’t even messing with a “sam linebacker.” It’s clear UK’s base package is the “medium” 3-3-5 look.
— Only four true freshmen appear in the two-deep: OL Jager Burton, WR Chauncey Magwood, LB Trevin Wallace and the surprise of training camp, DL Kahlil Saunders.
RECORD SCRATCH: Chauncey Magwood was originally listed as wide receiver-2 behind Isaiah Epps. UK has corrected that, replacing the true freshman with DeMarcus Harris.
