One of the top rising seniors on Kentucky’s Big Board has locked in his official visit.

Avery Stuart, a four-star class of 2023 safety out of Montgomery, AL, announced through social media on Sunday morning that he will be in Lexington for an OV June 8-10. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound defensive back is considered the 209th best prospect in his class and 17th best overall safety, according to the On3 Consensus. Stuart included Kentucky among his top six in late April, joining the likes of Auburn, Arkansas, Florida State, Miami, and Michigan State.

Stuart now has two of his five official visits locked in for this summer. He’ll also visit Florida State from June 23-25.

Earlier this spring in late March, Stuart made an unofficial visit to Lexington where he met with safeties coach Frank Buffano, who is his lead recruiter. Stuart then took another unofficial visit, but this time to Florida State at the beginning of May. Those are his two most recent unofficial visits.

With that in mind, it doesn’t feel like much of a coincidence that FSU and UK received his first two official visits. Those two schools currently lead for Stuart’s services, according to On’3 RPM (Recruiting Prediction Machine). Florida State is in front with a 31.7 percent chance while Kentucky isn’t far behind at 27.7 percent.
