And now for some unfortunate football news. Four-star strongside defensive end James Hudson just announced he is decommitting from Kentucky. The 6'5" 280 lbs. Toldeo native committed to Kentucky back last July, but has picked up some huge offers in recent weeks, including one from Alabama on May 5. He also visited Ohio State last week and will visit Michigan this weekend. In a statement on Twitter, Hudson says he will keep Kentucky high on his list, but he wants to "enjoy the recruiting process": https://twitter.com/__BallisLife2/status/733017392515780608 You may remember Hudson as the recruit that prompted Vince Marrow to take a jab at Derrick Ansley on Twitter a few weeks back. Ansley, formerly the UK defensive backs coach, is now at Alabama and was the one to offer Hudson a scholarship, leading Marrow to tweet, "It's funny some coaches don't like recruiting Ohio now they are somewhere else and they are all up in it. Let's battle go Big Blue." Here's hoping Hudson remembers who showed interest first.
