I found Kentucky's missing link for next year's team while searching through today's news articles.  This 7-foot senior from the Twin Cities is sure to match-up well with Skal Labissiere next season. In fact, Sean Hjelle has already committed to play for the Cats. The only problem is that commitment is to the baseball team as a pitcher. Weird, right? It's not every day you see a person who emulates the body of a basketball player take the mound. Hjelle is a good player on the basketball court as well (something obvious with his body type). However, in a world where money often trumps passion, it was refreshing to see his reasoning:
“Not a lot of people my size play baseball, I always tell people that, though I love basketball, baseball is really my passion. It’s my life."
Although we probably won't see him on the basketball court at Kentucky any time soon, it does have the feel of an old LSU walk-on Andrew Del Piero, who first went to the school to play the sousaphone. Here are some videos of Hjelle at practice so you can see what a 7-footer looks like outside of basketball:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdCbpAyfJi4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qbQ-egD0sg (h/t USA Today)
