A couple of NBDL notes on former Cats

@HunterCampbell

perry-dunk It's a football bye week with no mid-week basketball game and the news is trickling in, so let's check in on a couple of former Kentucky guys... --First up, a word of congratulations go out to our man Perry Stevenson. You may remember that Stevenson was drafted to the Tulsa 66ers in the recent NBDL draft. Well, where fellow draftees Jared Carter and Shagari Alleyne were waived and failed to make their final rosters, Stevenson did make the cut for Tulsa and will be on the squad this season. He announced the good news on Twitter:
@PSteve2122 Well #BBN ur boy is in the building! I made the final roster. Gotta be prepared to stay and make an impact now! #gocats #go66ers
Go 66ers, indeed. And go Prairie Dog.
--And while we're on the subject of the NBDL, take a minute to check out what Patrick Patterson is saying about his recent move to the D-League's Rio Grande Vipers. He's taking it in stride and talks about looking at the move as a challenge for him to get better. The coaches understand that Patterson is there to work on specific areas of his game and the KSR favorite says he's already seeing improvements. He averaged 13.0 points in the Vipers' pair of preseason games, and Patterson and teammate Ramon Harris open their regular season tomorrow night against the Texas Legends who, ironically, feature no legends. They do feature Filthy Card Reece Gaines and Carolina's Rashad McCants, though, and that's worth...something.
So not only do the Cats own the NBA, they decided to go ahead and take over the D-League too. It's an epidemic.
