A gimmick for the biggest game of the year?

Not this type of red-out. As if playing half of your games on a day other than Saturday wasn't enough of a red flag that you aren't exactly a football program to be taken seriously, Louisville's football program found yet another way to give their credibility a good shot in the junk. They've decided to run a "red-out" at the Kentucky game, proving that their fans are so fair-weather that they have to be motiviated with a high school gimmick to show up in droves for the rivalry game.   But, then again, maybe it's an honor that they're taking what is by all accounts a mediocre Kentucky team seriously because they previously had a black-out and a white-out against West Virginia and Rutgers, who were both ranked at the time. If they start handing out bail bond vouchers or Tom Jurich bobble heads, we'll know that they've definitely gone too far.
