A huge day and some news

by:Matt Jones08/31/06
Been a huge day around here as I completed my move to the Ville and Kentucky Sports Radio Episode 3 premiered. Let me say (and not to sound like a shill) but I do think this is one of, if not the best we have done and the interviews with Patrick Patterson, Marshall Moses, Chip Cosby and Coach Trevor Brown are all informative. You should check them out and download Episode 3 here if you have not yet done so. Also time is almost closed for the COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHOOSE OR LOSE game with real cash prizes. I will give folks until 4 PM to post their entries in the thread below (just scroll down). We have about 40 so far, but I cant imagine why you wouldnt do it. Free money people!!! One little tidbit of news if you have not yet heard it. Chris Barnes a 6'7" post player who is thick and strong, has announced he will be visiting UK on September 30. (That is bowling star Chris Barnes above). This goes along with what I had heard about new names coming out in the next few weeks and we will try to get more on Barnes in the coming days. I have seen him play once before and was generally impressed. I didnt watch him closely however because I didnt know of the Kentucky interest, but he is a known, strong commodity. I am also interested in what you folks think about the tone of Patrick Patterson during his interview. I have talked to him a lot and he is generally subdued, but something about that interview made me a bit nervous and I am not sure what exactly it is. I would be interested in your thoughts. Finally I want to make sure that you folks dont miss some great posts that were put up here late yesterday. Duncan did his final preview for UK Football with the Special Teams Intern gave a stellar account of Mumme v. ACLU And Rob gave an interesting take on UK Punting as only Rob can All great posts. Look for the staff's UK-UL predictions tomorrow...
