st-catharine St. Catharine College in Springfield, Ky. is closing its doors the Board of Trustees announced this morning during a campus-wide faculty meeting.  The Catholic School was founded by the Dominican Sisters of Peace in 1931.  In the last year they had an enrollment just shy of 1,000 students. To all of those who lost a job teaching at the school and students who lost a place to learn, you have KSR's condolences.
