A Quick, Fake Summary: It Happens to the Best of Them

by:The Fake Gimel Martinez11/25/09

For whatever reason, everything seemed to go against the Wildcats. They fought each other for rebounds. They couldn't lock down yet another kid who's knocking down 3-pointers on them. They could have put a slow-paced game away with free-throws and kept missing them. Stanford outhustled and executed their game plan very well against the Wildcats.

How many times did the Wildcats miss a layup on a foul, turning a possible 3-point play into earning 2 points?

But in overtime, Kentucky finally did the things to win. Led by the uber-talented and deadly Ramon Harris the Wildcats finally wear down the Cardinal in overtime 73-65.

Alright boys, time for you to come home. Your in-flight movie choices will be Dwight Howard teaching you how to rebound or My Sister's Keeper.

Update: ESPN Box Score is available. Kentucky was 17-25 on FTs; Stanford was 18-26.
