A third player in the class of 2020 lands an offer from UK

The recruiting news can't stop, won't stop. The Cats offered the No. 5 player in the class of 2020 on Tuesday and Wisconsin fans have probably about had it with John Calipari. Wisconsin native Jalen Johnson becomes the third player in the class of 2020 (N'Faly Dante and Scottie Barnes) to land an offer from the Cats, and he likely won't be the last this fall. https://twitter.com/Jalen_J23/status/1044713017672380423 The 6-foot-8, 215-pound wing averaged 18.6 and 10 rebounds per game during his sophomore season for Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wisc., and is considered one of the best scorers in his class. Kentucky has already put in plenty of work for Johnson. He visited Kentucky for Big Blue Madness last season and don't be surprised to hear of an official visit back to Kentucky this fall. We don't know how UK's 2019 class will shake out so it's wild trying to predict the Cats' 2020 class, but so far so good with Johnson. To already receive a visit, and maybe another this fall, is a great start. Plus, if Wisconsin native Tyler Herro kills it for Kentucky this fall that won't hurt UK's chances. “(UK) is a great school," Johnson told Rivals over the summer. "It is run by a great coaching staff and Coach Cal (John Calipari) has developed his players. I know they’re known for going one-and-done but he still develops his players to be the best that they can be, which is what I have the utmost respect for, in that aspect of it.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvvDawzeFsA [mobile_ad]
