sam-bowie-si-cover As strange as it sounds, from 1922 until 1983, there was no regular season game between the Cats and Cards.  But, following a Cards victory in the 1982-83 tournament, the rivalry returned in November 1983 as Kentucky blasted the Louisville in a game that pitted two teams pretty similar to the two that will meet today.  So, with that in mind, take a step into the KSR time machine and let's go back to the early 80s.
