Aaron Harrison Received Good News Today

by:Bobby Reagan06/15/15
Aaron Harrison We all know the story. The seven guys declared for the NBA Draft and many expected all seven to get drafted with Karl-Anthony Towns leading the way. The two biggest question marks however were the Harrison twins.  Thanks to a strong combine and workouts, Andrew has skyrocketed up the charts and is bordering on the first round now. Aaron on the other hand struggled during the Combine, often looking like he was pressing or trying to do too much. He slipped out of his mock drafts, but did receive some good news today, simply thanks to others. Sam Vecenie of CBS, who specializes in NCAA Basketball, NBA Draft and the international players of the NBA Draft tweeted out today a plethora of international players pulling out of the draft. Most of these guys were likely to get drafted as the new trend is taking a second round pick on an international player and storing him in Europe while he develops. Vecenie said "Man, the second round in this draft is just getting totally decimated. Weak NCAA class, lot of Int’l guys pulling their names." When I asked him about Harrison specifically he responded "It certainly hasn’t been a bad day for him." The Draft is only 10 days away, so lets hope this is the start of good news for Harrison and the rest of the group. Sometimes it's not about what you do but what others do when it comes to the Draft.
