It may be mid-June, but the Aaron Torres Podcast just keeps rolling on. Aaron opens the show by discussing hiccups in the return of both the NBA and MLB this weekend, and why it’s proof that pro athletes are out of touch with the common fan. Then Aaron is joined by Oklahoma State coach Mike Boynton to talk about his fight against the NCAA and the future of Cade Cunningham.

Here’s a rundown of the show:

MLB and NBA players are out of touch: Aaron opens the show by discussing the weekend that was in the return to sports. Aaron explains about how the NBA player’s complaints about the “bubble” and MLB players arguing over money is proof they have lost touch with the common fan. Even with both set to return, do fans have the right to be mad? And why the player’s actual complaints have nothing to do with health issues, but instead inconvenience.

Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boyton: Aaron is joined by Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boyton to discuss his team’s battle with the NCAA. Coach Boynton explains what his school was actually accussed of, and why he believes the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. Also, is the NCAA lumping the Cowboys in with all the other schools caught up in the FBI probe? Finally, he explains the conversations that he’s had with all his players including Cade Cunningham, and the choice that awaits Cunningham on whether to stay at the school, transfer or seek professional options.
