Adam West Passes Away at 88

Amid the fanfare of yesterday's baseball super regional, some of you may have missed the news of the death of Adam West, best known for portraying the titular Caped Crusader in the 1960's Batman TV show.
Whether you're a young kid whose Batman is Christian Bale, or an adult who would pick Michael Keaton, it's undeniable that West that brought the character into the mainstream. For the many shows and films that have released in the decades since, we, at least in part, have him to thank.
