The Kentucky basketball program will host a pair of five-star prospects for official visits in August, KSR has learned.

2022 top-10 prospect Adem Bona tells KSR he will be making his way to Lexington in August, with top-20 rising senior Cason Wallace also adding that he will be taking an official to Kentucky in the coming weeks, as well.

Bona, a 6-10, 220-pound center out of Turkey, is considered the No. 9 overall prospect and No. 3 at his position according to 247Sports. ESPN lists him at No. 15 overall and No. 3 among centers while Rivals has him ranked No. 27 overall and No. 3 at his position.

As for Wallace, the 6-4, 185-pound guard is considered No. 16 overall by Rivals, No. 19 by 247Sports and No. 28 overall by ESPN.

Wallace received a scholarship offer from Kentucky this past weekend after finishing as one of the top performers at Peach Jam from July 13-25, while the UK coaching staff has been intrigued by Bona’s game for several months and are expected to extend an offer sooner rather than later. Orlando Antigua, Jai Lucas, Chin Coleman and Bruiser Flint all watched Bona and Wallace on the first day of the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Orlando, FL on Wednesday.

In the backcourt, UK has one commitment already in five-star guard Skyy Clark, with Wallace, Shaedon Sharpe, Nick Smith Jr., Jaden Bradley, Keyonte George, Brandon Miller and Chris Livingston also boasting offers. As for the frontcourt, Dereck Lively II, Kyle Filipowski and Jalen Duren are the lone prospects to hold offers, though Duren is expected to reclassify into the class of 2021 sooner rather than later.

You’re looking at two of Kentucky’s top targets in the class of 2022, BBN. Time to get familiar with each of their games.
