Alabama won but it really wasn't that bad

usatsi_9582478_154849602_lowres Don't let the final score get you down. Sure, Alabama won by 28 with a 34-6 final score, but Kentucky did some good things we can be optimistic about. The defense played alright, considering the opponent; the team fought until the very end; and it was a tie ballgame after one quarter. Let's be honest with ourselves: Kentucky was never winning that game. So this isn't a loss to get beat up over. Now the Vanderbilt game is critical for Stoops' future and what's left of the Cats' bowl hopes. Saturday night didn't do anything to crush the momentum from the South Carolina win and it looks like the team will survive Tuscaloosa without injury. We'll have plenty more from the game throughout the night and tomorrow...
