Alex Poythress signs deal with the Pacers
Alex Poythress earned himself a partially guaranteed contract with the Indiana Pacers, according to The Vertical.
The Vertical's sources say he will likely spend the season with the Fort Wayne Mud Ants in the NBA D-League, but it's still a deal, nonetheless.
During an interview in Lexington earlier this month, Poythress said he had been in touch with several NBA teams and things were looking optimistic. He still has aspirations to play in the NBA and believes he will.
