If Andrew Wiggins plans to wait until the fall to enroll in college classes, like his host mom said earlier today, what does that mean for Florida State's chances?
As Tomahawk Nation pointed out,
Leonard Hamilton's team will take its once-every-four-years foreign trip this summer. If Wiggins holds off on attending school until the fall to travel with Team Canada, he will miss the entire trip and summer practices with his new teammates. That would mean, if Florida State is his pick, he will be joining the team late after a month or two of team bonding, practicing and basketballing.
Maybe that's what Lesley Thomas meant when she said the summer will be a factor in his decision.
