And this is kind of when the wheels begin to loosen

by:Intern08/20/06
A little more rain on the UK football parade today, when it was reported that the 'Cats will be without the services of two more players for the UL game Sept. 3rd. OL Micah Jones and WR John Logan were suspended yesterday for "violation of team rules." Fitting that these two would get suspended together. What, were they hanging out at Club Disappointment together and found some ruckus? It is uncertain how much either would contribute against UL, with Jones coming off a major knee injury and Logan looking more and more like the kid from the Little Giants who gets his hands stick-um'ed to his jersey. Both are decent enough kids (at least from my experiences) and I hope they turn this into a positive and are able to finally contribute on the field this season. Failing to meet expectations is not always the fault of the player, but certainly the staff expects much more from both of these guys. And this latest episode will more than likely bury each of these young men even further down the depth chart...down into Jed Bassett territory.
