And Tomorrow's Opponent Is...
And it looks like tomorrow’s opponent will be the Ole Miss Not-Admiral-Ackbars. It will be a revenge game for Kentucky after losing to the Rebels on a last second shot in Oxford, one of many games on the road. The rebels handled South Carolina pretty easily in todays game even when USC went on a run in the second half, winning 66-55. With the win, it is Ole Miss that Kentucky will face in their first game, and frankly I think that’s better for UK than for USC. Give our guys a chance to remove some demon’s and go into the post season on a high. The question becomes – is Ole Miss putting together an SEC tourney run, or did they just take advantage of a pretty bad Gamecocks team? We will know more tomorrow at 3:30, but for what it’s worth, I think the Cats dominate.
