I just spoke with Phil Kornblut, the Kentucky Sports Radio of South Carolina, who spoke with me about this article in which he states that
6'6" forward Mike Jones either is now, or will be, visiting Kentucky. Phil said that Mike was a 2006 recruit who went to Syracuse for a semester, but then came back home to South Carolina for the Spring. He had academic troubles at South Carolina and is now at a Junior College in Iowa. It is not clear whether he would be eligible to play at Kentucky this fall, but Billy Clyde has been recruiting and trying to get him on campus. Jones played in the Jordan Classic in 06 and Kornblut says he is a "big time talent." More to come as we find it out.....
