Anthony Davis Stars in "NBA Rooks"
The NBA has begun filming an online web series entitled "NBA Rooks," which follows the lives of this year's rookies as they adjust to the demands of professional basketball. Anthony Davis starred in his own segment that came out this week, and watching it shows us that the early days as an NBA rookie may not be as glamorous as one would think...
Kudos to Davis for putting a positive spin on hotel room living: "Unfortunately I don't have a kitchen. Room services is my kitchen. I have my own chef, basically." And I guess he's correct that any closet can be considered a walk-in closet if you try hard enough.
In the Hornets' Thursday night preseason game, Davis had 19 points (15 in the first half) and 7 rebounds to lead the team in a loss against the Hawks. Go Davis. Go Cats.
