Anthony Davis Talks Rehab, Leadership, and Getting New Orleans Back to the Playoffs

by:Brooks Holton05/08/16
ant-davis-at-dallas Watching Patrick Patterson, Nazr Mohammed, and Enes do their thing in the NBA Playoffs and needing more of a 'Cats In The NBA' fix? Read this article from Brett Dawson of The New Orleans Advocate on Anthony Davis' road to recovery from the ultrasonic debridement that sidelined him for the last 14 games of the 2016 season. Davis shows a lot of maturity in Dawson's piece - although what else would you expect from Anthony at this point? From avoiding playoff games on TV, making a deliberate effort to get his body back to 100% before resuming basketball-specific workouts, and silencing the haters who questioned his leadership abilities with a veteran-like poise, you really get the sense that Davis has his mind in the right place, and will be more than ready to get back on the court once Pelicans training camp starts up in the fall. He knows New Orleans is his team to lead, and, if his time at Kentucky proved anything, it's that he'll let nothing stand in his way to get back to playing postseason basketball. Definitely check out Dawson's article, and get well soon, A.D. @brooksHoltonKSR
